Short tutorial showing how to change a barrel on your CZ 445. 🤍 🤍 CZ 455 In the new generation of the CZ rimfire rifles we have managed to combine experience accumulated over the years of development and production of this type of firearms with traditionally high quality, long service life, accuracy and modern trends. This new model of the CZ 455 rimfire rifle is based on classical design, but incorporating a lot of improvements affecting most of the main parts of this rifle. First of all we have answered wishes by many of our customers for having an action enabling interchangeability of barrels. Adopting a new knowledge when making the barrel’s muzzle, which we have acquired in the course of development and manufacture of firearms designed for hunting at long distances, allowed shortening of barrel while retaining traditionally high accuracy. Also the stock witnessed placing of small changes in order to achieve an even greater komfort during shooting. This was attained by optimizing the grip ergonomics, among others, in the pistol grip area. A new method of connecting barrelled-action with the stock is now dominated by only two screws with improved interface securing simpler tightening and superior appearance. Incorporating new features can be seen also on the sights. The rear signy enables adjustments for elevation and windage and the new shape of front signy base facilitates precise aiming. The use of cold hammer forged barrel has been again retained as well as the receiver made from a single billet of highquality steel. Traditionally uncompromising care for details is projected to each unit of this new rifle and will make envy of other shooters be it at target shooting or while hunting. Everybody loves To shoot a CZ rimfire rifle. That said I enjoyed how well this rifle shot. Right out of the box they shoot well but with Kenny from desert precision give this what I call the pro tune this thing shot like no other. Hope you enjoy the video. My first upload of me shooting my new CZ 455 Thumbhole 22lr its only a short clip but I spotted these two rabbits on one of the farms I shoot and couldn't resist a go with my new rifle. The first shot was at 60 yards and the second at 70 Im over the moon with the accuracy of the CZ and the 22lr is a hugely underestimated round. Oh and the voice you can hear in the background is my young nephew he wanted to come and see what the new rifle could do. Equipment used... Gun. CZ 455 Thumbhole .22lr Scope. Shooting the CZ 455 against the Ruger RPR rimfire
Using a fine sharpening stone and a polishing wheel impregnated with jeweler's rouge, I'll show you how to polish the rough factory finish to buttery-smooth in 20 minutes. Note that you are only taking sharp microscopic rough spots off and then microscopically polishing. Please notice that so little metal is affected that the acid etching serial number is still clearly visible on the bolt after the stonework and polishing. The stone is ultra fine, about as much as the unglazed part of a porcelain coffee cup bottom. The polish is a jeweler’s rouge stick that is impregnated onto a small polishing wheel. Also note that after-work smoothness is shown without any oil applied. For the concerned purists- be assured that there’s no sloppiness or damage done. The bolt is TIGHT, just not rough, grinding, and sticky any longer. Yes, CZ should have done the finish work, but regardless, this 455 is an absolute joy to manipulate and shoot now. Maybe 500-1,000 rounds would have corrected the problem, but this definitely did. ;) Please like and/or comment! ;)

The hammer forged CZ 455 and predecessor 452 offer outstanding value. Here's a walnut and hammer forged steel .22 bolt action rifle that shoots into ½ MOA. An interesting video where we look at and shoot the CZ 455 22lr rifle. An awesome rifle who can be used with 3 different barrels: 22lr / 22 WMR / 17 HMR. We mainly use the 22 lr barrel for informal plinking an offhand training, but it is easy to change for the 22 WMR who we keep for hunting varmints like the red fox.
Known for its long barrel and crisp iron sights that quickly adjust for distance, the Training Rifle is one of our most popular rimfire rifles. Like all 455s, it is able to quickly change between .22 LR, .17 HMR and .22 WMR with a few minutes work to swap in one of our accessory barrel sets.
