[Introduction] May I introduce our new eGPU dock: One Dock, the 1st eGPU dock which can support both ThunderBolt and OCulink (M.2) ports. This is a work designed by community cooperation. It is designed for all laptops & Win handheld PCs. The design idea is to show the original beauty of your expensive GPU. It's an invisible GPU holder with minimum desktop space, can be used for GPU cards of any size. It's overall size is 170 * 47 * 33mm(0.26L). With ThunderBolt, One Dock provides 85W PD power supply. It uses a JHL6540 ThunderBolt 3 controller. With OCulink, One Dock can get a MAX bandwidth of 64Gbps(M.2 PCIe x4 4.0), which greatly reduces the performance loss. One Dock requires an external 20V DC7450 power supply (standard DELL/HP laptop power supply adapter), GaN is recommended. The rated power of the power supply shall be greater than the sum of the MAX power consumption of GPU card and the PD power supply. The #GPD G1 eGPU docking station as the name suggests combines a traditional docking station for your handheld or mini PC with a high performance AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT eGPU. In our review we take a closer look, including a partial teardown (see our full video coming soon) and benchmark the graphics card to compare with the 780M GPU found on the GPD WIN MAX 2 2023 via Oculink. NOTE: Earlier today AMD released official drivers for the 7000 series of processors which was bad timing as this review was ready to go live. We briefly updated to mention this in the video but the benchmark results are based on the beta drivers. In our initial tests his morning we did see upwards of 30% performance increase over the beta #egpu drivers! In this video, I upgraded the integrated graphics on a Laptop using a M.2 to PCIe x16 adapter. This video runs down the entire process from start to finish.
