This sign is technically like WELCOME as in welcoming a person to a home. BUT! there IS NO sign for the way Maui uses You're welcome in the song. So this was the best translation I could think of that accurately depicts what he meant... I put a lot of thought into this. that's why in the gloss YOU-WELCOME is in parentheses. -I forgot to sign DANCE for the "tippity tap" part -I suck at finger spelling... I probably messed those up somewhere - I signed ISLAND slightly wrong. My non-dominant/bottom hand should have had my palm facing down

Featuring an all-Deaf Colombian and Hispanic cast, this signed video adaptation of the song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” utilizes both American Sign Language (ASL) and Colombian Sign Language (CSL) to add additional layers of authenticity and poetry to the song.
