Could go essence reaver for the mana issue, plus the spellblade would work well also, probably rush essence then mythic or pivot into bruiser build, heartsteel into titanic and then 30 percent armour of pen

I love the full lifesteal Graves build, but i usually go Ravenous Hydra first it's actually bonkers, especially against something like Sion that wants to play around pushing waves, NOTHING pushes faster and harder than Ravenous Graves

this was used in proplay for a couple patches then got a slight nerf then everyone stopped playing him. which is really weird cuz he absolutely shreds.

Only issue is mana, which i think could be solved with either a mana rune or tear. Its hard to pass up on Triumph heal + gold per kill/assist as graves has good kill pressure but i do think for less skilled players, running presence of mind would work better. Starting cull, rush 1st base into tear could work decently as well. (or other way around).

Umbral Glaive could still work well on him in jungle with zombie wards, rush that 1st into mythic, BT, IE. Boots & luxury item afterwards.

Counter play for Sion, should have rushed Tabby's & wardens mail into Thornmail. Grab health regen item and sit on it until finish building thornmail, wardens -> either frozen heart or randuins. Sunfire is good for damage but this isnt a lane you can live for long enough to do that damage in the early game. Early game is survival

Why would you not go any sort of mana in the early build?! Idc what anyone says, 400g instead of a longsword is worth mana, or manaflow over other rune options. There is no point going for 100% optimization if you are not Faker.
